Well, I wasn’t trying to get too situational Boxing Gloves Assuming Im Just An Old Lady Was Your First Mistake Vintage shirt. but yes if you are going to harm people you shouldn’t do anything. I was talking about the general principle. But if we are going to be specific, assuming there are going to be laceration wounds all you have to do is apply pressure and try and stop the bleeding before medics arrive. It’s pretty basic. I know CPR and carry a tourniquet with me too so I would be able to respond in that way as well.

But the average person can pull someone out of a car if they are unconscious and in danger Boxing Gloves Assuming Im Just An Old Lady Was Your First Mistake Vintage shirt. I understand your point too, but I still feel we shouldn’t just jump into any situation where someone is hurt. Regardless what the injury is and where it is, we need to practice caution and make sure we aren’t putting ourselves or anyone else at risk by trying to help out. Sometimes the safest option for everyone is to call the pros and wait, unfortunately. Again, not undermining what you’re saying, just adding to it. Depends where you are. If there’s no one else there you should definitely stop. But let’s say a car crashes into a bus shelter and there are lots of people in the area and you’re in a car. If you have a lot of medical knowledge you should first find an out-of-the-way place to park before helping, and if you aren’t a doctor then you should just leave because if you stop you’ll create a traffic jam and slow the ambulance down. That’s actually wrong IMO. The difference between life and death can be a few seconds. Of course, the first thing you should do is call emergency services, and find a reasonable parking space. But no matter what in my opinion you should do something to help (if nobody else is, no point making a crowd of people all trying do the same thing) if there are people bleeding out (as if a bus ran into a shelter) then you doing something to stop the bleeding, no matter how professional you are, can make a difference. You do raise a good point about training though, lucky enough I was trained in first aid and CPR in high school. I was lucky to get that, but tbh I think it should be mandatory for this reason. Well, aren’t you suppose to touch somebody who may have nerve damage cause u risk messing them up even more from a car crash or something. Like yeah if their bleeding and stuff sure, but if their head is twisted around and stuff then maybe not
