While I can’t say I necessarily agree Omg please make it stop 2020 bus driver mask shirt. am absolutely amazed at your ability to utilize passages from the books to provide a justification for the ending of the last episode. Thanks for the great read and a perspective of Azor Ahai’s and Lightbringer’s roles that I never considered before! I’m itching to revisit the lore surrounding the prophecies from GRRM’s novels now.

Sorry for the late reply, but thank you for the comment and Omg please make it stop 2020 bus driver mask shirt. Yeah, it’s been a while since I frequented this sub, but I knew I wasn’t going to be taken seriously on here without some evidence to back it up. When the Night King-First Men- Old Ways connection came to me, it blew my mind, and I just had to get all these thoughts about that moment out of my head and all in one place. The stuff about Arya being Lightbringer came to me while I was looking for foreshadowing for Arya killing the Night King. As a book reader, there are things didn’t like about the episode (and many of the post-book episodes). But I’m surprised no one (until this post) has tried to figure some of these things out as if they’re going to happen in the books. For example, what if Arya is actually Lightbringer? Or AA? Regardless of execution of this on the show, I’m glad someone took it as a serious possibility. I’ve come to the opinion that the show has put aside so many pieces from the books, and this Arya scene being one of them, that I don’t even feel worried about them really spoiling the books for me anymore. The journey is going to be so different.
